customer training packages, preventive maintenance inspection programs, and
spare part sales. Should your equipment require maintenance, the Ventax
service group includes highly trained technicians and staff who are
responsive to any production problems that you may encounter. Trained in the
mechanical, electrical, and programming aspects of the automation, our
full-time, dedicated service staff can offer over-the-phone advice, or make

Spare
Parts
Spare parts are readily available, either through Ventax or directly from the
original component suppliers or their distributors. Components are chosen for
their availability in North America. Simply call the Ventax customer support
department for a quotation; provide an automation serial number, a part
number if possible, and if in stock, the part can be shipped to you by the
next business day. To expedite the parts ordering process, please have the
serial number and/or job number of your automation product ready. The serial
numbers can be found on a blue metal tag attached to your automation, and in
your Operating Manual. For part numbers, you can consult your Operating
Manual, under the heading "Spare Parts". Here you will find a list
of common consumable parts often subject to normal wear and tear. Otherwise,
you can quote the manufacturer's number that you will find on the part
itself.
Training
Ventax training courses are very flexible and can be tailored for the size of
the class, type of training, and/or training times. Classes can be broken
into three basic categories: Operator Training, Maintenance Training, and
Program Training. The typical duration for the Operator or Maintenance
Training courses is four continuous hours, or six continuous hours for the
Program Training course.
The operator
training course teaches the operator safe operating procedures, machine
operation, and basic operator troubleshooting skills. The maintenance
training course includes basic troubleshooting, tests and adjustments, and
minor repairs to keep your equipment in top condition. The program training
course is designed to go through the Ventax program, explain the program
sequence, and identify the interaction between the program and the system
components. This course assumes that the programmer already has PLC
programming skills. In addition, Ventax can supply program development
software at a reasonable cost.
Preventive
Maintenance Inspection (PMI)
The PMI is a service designed to ensure the continued reliability of your
Ventax equipment. This chargeable service involves a Ventax Customer Support
representative visiting your site, inspecting your equipment and making any
necessary minor adjustments that may be needed. After the PMI has been
completed, a written report will be issued identifying any worn, damaged or
suspect parts and/or any machine issues that may need to be addressed. This
report will include a parts list with prices of any items identified as
needing replacement at that time, or in the near future, with an estimated
replacement time for these items. These parts can be ordered from Ventax at
that quoted price. The on site customer's maintenance department can elect to
replace these parts themselves or contact Ventax for a quote to replace the
parts by a qualified Ventax Customer Support technician. Contact the Ventax
